We are looking for short & accessible pieces that showcase thought processes, helpful strategies, and creative insights, from a variety of approaches and contexts. For example, in “How I Conduct,” you might actually focus on how you conduct rehearsals or select repertoire. In “How I Perform,” you might explain how you interpret a particular piece, or describe your practice regimen. Aim for language that would be helpful to undergraduate and graduate music students.
